About
About Me
I’m a trained journalist, editor, and nonfiction writer turned digital strategist, with 15+ years in policy and academic research storytelling, digital ad agency copywriting, and newsroom reporting. After years of telling others’ stories, I’m now also focused on creative nonfiction and other projects that share my own experiences and advocate for survivors of gender-based violence and complex trauma.
I specialize in translating complex ideas, dense reports, and technical data into clear, engaging digital experiences. At RAND, I led the content strategy for a full redesign of RAND.org and co-led a brand refresh that redefined voice, messaging, and creative direction. My work has spanned narrative longform and micro-sites, UX content design, data visualizations, public service campaigns, and multimedia storytelling.
I approach each project with the belief that empathy and clear, unfussy language can solve almost any problem. While my work can sometimes be data-driven and strategic, it is *always* driven by people—their stories, their hearts, their truths, and the potential to create meaningful change.
